Rod grew up in the suburbs of Philadelphia as the oldest of four children. A graduate of Eastern University in St. Davids, PA, Rod double majored in Health & Physical Education and Youth Ministry.
A popular writer & sought after speaker, Rod draws from his deep well of Biblical knowledge and personal pain to encourage others along the broken journey to wholeness. Applying Scripture, humor and personal experience, his style can reach a wide range of audiences.
He has been published in both local and national publications and is in the process of writing his first book. This blog, originally intended as a way for him to chronicle his painful path, has since been read hundreds of thousands of times in over 175 countries and has even been translated into other languages.
Rod spends a significant amount of time trying to help others who have experienced a similar journey and providing hope and help to those who need it.
He resides in Charlotte, North Carolina and has three children.
